Reducing the Volume:  (Video at bottom)

Removing volume makes a big difference of less pressure against the neck muscles. This should be done if the person feels the volume of the pillow pushing the head up, on the back or side of the neck, or experience arm or hand numbness tingling.

Open the zipper on the pillowcase and remove the rolled filling. Find the end of the rolled edge, unroll 6” and tear off a strip from the length, (about 1 ounce). Replace the filling carefully. Close the zipper on the pillow case.

This adjustment can be done once more before losing its supportive ability. If after a second adjustment comfort is not forth with it is recommended to change the pillow for one size lower.

Increasing the Volume:

The Align-Right™ Sleeping Pillow has been designed to fit a standard medium-firm density mattress and average body structure. An increase in volume may be needed due to variable in mattress density, body structure, shoulder support or sleep style.

Open the zipper on the pillowcase and remove the rolled filling. Find the end of the rolled edge, unroll about 12” and add the 6” (1 ounce) piece. Re-roll the fill and carefully replace in the case. Close the zipper on the pillow case. A pillow can receive up to 2 ounces more of fill to keep the correct alignment support for the neck curve. Contact Align-Right for extra fill 1-800-331-0907.

* CAREFULLY CLOSE THE ZIPPER
1. Flatten out plaque (extra material under zipper), to a position under the zipper teeth
2. Gently push any fibre away from under the zipper teeth.
3. About 4 inches/10 centimetres in length away from the closing end, use your left-hand index finger and thumb to hold/pinch together the material. With your right hand pull the tab up to close the zipper where you have pinched together the material. Push the tab down to lock how far you done up the zipper.
4. You will need to do Step 3 two to three times more to close the zipper.

Note: The zipper will break if you try to pull the zipper over zipper teeth that have fiber pieces stuck in them. Pull fiber out of the zipper teeth before proceeding to close the zipper further.
